A Bit of Josephine and Napoleon...

I thought Isabella Rossellini was marvelous in this movie. Enjoy.

Yes, it's Sarah Brightman, she's wonderful. And the lyrics are so right for the clip, as well.

Excellent! Is it a foreign film?

Is this out now? I must see it! Isabella Rossallini is so incredible beautiful and looks like a great Josephine!

It was a five part mini-series in French, so yes, it's foreign. It came out in 2003 I believe. Because I'm in Quebec, I got to see it first in French, but I have the DVD series in English. The acting is excellent and Isabella portrays Josephine beautifully.

Here's another Youtube clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mvZW4hG78E

and here's a site that sells the DVD and describes the movie: http://www.moviesunlimited.com/musite/product.asp?sku=D39704&loc=actor

What a stunning clip. I am mesmerized by seeing the beautiful costumes in action. So often I only see still images of historical fashion. Thank you for posting this. It made my day!

But that was a beautiful movie! If it wa any other couple I would have thought, "Oh fast-forwrd this, I hate seeing people snog it's revolting" but I didn't on this one, it was so nice seeing them all happy, and I know they're only actors, but Isabella was amazing! And that's my first name as well! And when Josepine was all weepy at the end I was crying too because she made it come to life like nobody else. I love the cursiv script, thanks a billion!
