I love reading about history and I’m fascinated and curious about anything that happened with past royalty... In this blog I will post articles on history, facts and tidbits, interesting finds and much more, regarding historical figures and the past.

I am particularly interested in French and Italian history (14thc to 18th c  in particular). And- as you may have noticed, this blog is dedicated to my muse...Josephine...You'll find lots of material on her at my site, that's for sure! 

Venice is also my love and I post regualrly on everything and anything Venetian.  I adore antique books that deal with both art and history.  So, look forward to lots of posts on this as well (not to mention some of my own art dabbling:)
