Letter D for ABC Historical Fiction Challenge....

On this fortnight of the Letter D for the ABC in Historical Fiction Challenge, I want to include Kris Waldherr's: Doomed Queens.

Witty, intelligent, historically accurate and so insightful- I enjoyed this book to the max. All my favourite heroines of the past were discussed, and I honestly think the author didn't miss one- they were all included. The book is deliciously illustrated and also interactive. See my review here.

Doomed Queens sounds like a must-read for me! I have always been interested in the stories of Anne Boleyn, Marie Antoinette, Lady Jane Grey, etc. I enjoyed your review and I am adding this book to my TBR list. Hopefully a library around me has an available copy on the shelf!
