Cool beans! I love Jean Plaidy, she's one of the reasons that I started writing historical fiction and non-fiction. I also love her Philippa Carr and Victoria Holt novels as well.
Wow! How cool, Elizabeth...it's interesting to know that she was such an influence. Plaidy's writing is really good. I love her Victoria Holt HF stuff as well. Thanks!

Jean Plaidy's books for children introduced me to history when I was very young, so I am very introduced in your new blog! Great to see it.
